Imperial City Palace

A flip through the pages of history will bring you to a golden era that once existed in the pink city of Jaipur, the remainders of which can be found in every nook and corner of the city. Many forts and palaces built several years back are till date standing majestically, very much unaffected by the changing times.

Bazaars of Hyderabad

If you strongly abide by the policy of ' Shop till You drop' and you happen to tour to Hyderabd, then my freinds you have truly hit the bull's eye. Talking on the Bazaars of Hyderabad is a bit nostalgic for me...reasons for this are many, it reminds me of my schooldays, my classmates, my English teacher and most of all my days of childishness.....

Rajasthan - India's Desert State

Recently, I visited Rajasthan, a state of India, which is popularly known as the "Place of Rajput Warriors". When I reached Rajasthan I found the state many times beautiful than my expectations. Last month I managed one week holiday from my busy work schedule and set out for Rajasthan’s capital, Jaipur. When I reached Jaipur, I understood completely why the city is called pink city, it is due to pink coloured houses, shops and institutions.

Jaisalmer - Rajasthan

Last week I planned a trip to the city of Jaisalmer with my wife and my son. We set out for Golden city of Jaisalmer by catching an overnight bus. Next day in the morning we reached Jaisalmer, for three days we stayed in Jaisalmer and visited all the attractions in and around the city.

Bikaner, Rajasthan

Like other cities of Rajasthan I found that Bikaner is surrounded by a huge battlemented wall and is home to impressive Junagarh fort. My tour guide informed me that the fort was constructed by Raja Rai Singh between 1587 and 1593.

Jodhpur - Rajasthan

It’s true that the state of Rajasthan is synonymous with grand palaces, lofty forts, decorated buildings, camels and sand dunes. Amongst the cities which I visited during my trip to Rajasthan, I found something special in Jodhpur.

Udaipur - Rajasthan

At first I visited the massive City Palace, the winter-residence of Maharana. As I reached near the palace it hold my attention through its wonderful exterior beauty, while inside the palace several wonders were waiting for me namely Suraj Gokhada, Badi Mahal, Sheesh Mahal etc.

Sacred City of Ajmer, Rajasthan

I head towards the Dargah to pay a homage to Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti. Here, I found thousand of devotees paying their homages, being a part of that huge congregation was a matter of pride for me. While I was paying homage to Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, I came across beautiful calligraphic inscriptions of the Holy Qoran.

Holy Town of Pushkar, Rajasthan

On my last trip to India I got a chance to visit the Pushkar town of Rajasthan. When I reached the town to my utter surprise, the town still carrying its rich cultural heritage. I was entirely spellbound by the congregated beauties of hundreds of temples and lively ghats.
