Udaipur - Rajasthan

At first I visited the massive City Palace, the winter-residence of Maharana. As I reached near the palace it hold my attention through its wonderful exterior beauty, while inside the palace several wonders were waiting for me namely Suraj Gokhada, Badi Mahal, Sheesh Mahal etc.

Sacred City of Ajmer, Rajasthan

I head towards the Dargah to pay a homage to Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti. Here, I found thousand of devotees paying their homages, being a part of that huge congregation was a matter of pride for me. While I was paying homage to Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, I came across beautiful calligraphic inscriptions of the Holy Qoran.

Holy Town of Pushkar, Rajasthan

On my last trip to India I got a chance to visit the Pushkar town of Rajasthan. When I reached the town to my utter surprise, the town still carrying its rich cultural heritage. I was entirely spellbound by the congregated beauties of hundreds of temples and lively ghats.

Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, Rajasthan

Consists of scrub lands, grasslands, trees, marshes and woodland, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary provides a perfect natural habitat to birds. Amongst the variety of migratory birds, the rare Siberian Crane fascinated me a lot. Apart from birds, I also saw a variety of animal species.

Mount Abu, Rajasthan

During the ancient time, Mount Abu was the home of a number saints and sages, so apart from a hill station, Mount Abu is also a sacred place for pilgrims. When I reached Mount Abu, to my surprise it was cool oasis in the desert land of Rajasthan.

Bundi, Rajasthan

City Palace, Jaipur

City Palace is so vast that it alone encompasses one-seventh of the total walled city of Jaipur. Actually, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II built the outer walls, most of the inner parts were constructed later under different rulers. Within its massive walls, the City Palace houses a number of picturesque structures.

Amber Fort, Jaipur

Set 11 kms away from Jaipur, Amber fort tells the tales of the glorious past of the Rajput Maharajas. In the year 1592, a Rajput ruler, Raja Man Singh, commenced the construction of the fort, later additions were made until the Kachwaha ruler, Sawai Jai Singh II transferred the capital to Jaipur.
